Posted before...this is the latest and (hopefully) final version [until another “must have” pedal becomes available]
Latest version. G50, D'Addario Tuner, and SD studio Bass off, Effectrode LA-1A on. Rearranged positioning Power update from Ojai to Cioks DC7. Improved Homemade PT Jr sized board with Aluminium rails (was carpet covered Pine board) for cable routing.

I just say no to velcro. I have 2 dogs and my pedal board stays on the floor, so I get hair, dust, and carpet fuzz. I'm not having that for a second.

Temple Audio Duo 17 w/ the optional power supply and patch bay. Signal path: Patch Bay In -> Sonic Research Turbo Tuner mini -> Effectrode PC-2A Compressor -> Arkham Oracle Preamp -> Free The Tone Black Vehicle Bass Overdrive -> Empress Paraeq -> Patch Bay Out. Power supply: Voodoo Labs Power Plus 2. Mounting: Temple Audio quick-mount plates. Patch cables: Custom made George L’s right-angle coaxial cables.
I had to modify one of the wire chases in the board to accommodate the IEC power supply cable to the preamp. Otherwise the setup is pretty straight forward and by the book. Placement tolerances wind up being pretty tight after you account for the patch cables and the power supply, which is a de facto no through-mounting zone. But I was able to make everything work.
The basic layout logic: Top row for always-on, minimally-adjusted pedals; Bottom row for pedals with regularly-toggled stomp switches. In preliminary layouts, I had the EQ up higher and the preamp vertically mounted. Over time, I realized that the normally-off boost switch on the EQ is handy way to kick up the volume. Hence the final layout with the EQ in the bottom row and the horizontally mounted preamp.
Still need to add wire management details under the board, but the basic cable routing is pretty clean.

I’m pretty sure my chorus pedal is on the way off the board (again) I just don’t use it.
I’m not sure the buffer pedal does much so it may go as well.
I moved the phaser way up the chain, (Almost always on pedal for me) and haven’t gotten to try it yet. (I watched a video of a famous player and saw an mxr phase 90 at the beginning of the chain and wanted to try it)
This is the bedside pedalboard which is everything I have taken off the main board and haven’t sold yet.... or can’t bring myself to get rid of... (wireless gets moved back and forth between boards)

Quick question for the pedal dudes...
I am thinking of adding a preamp (jhs clover or Ampeg classic analog) an EQ(mxr, boss, or ?) and trying another chorus (ehx bass clone).
I play punk, motown, and rock with a pick or thumb. (Often in the same song). Through Ampeg amps (Ba-210, micro vr, and PF-50t)
Do you see any drawbacks to those additions?

Well, here's what I've had together for a few months with no more changes expected ... ? No more room anyways.
The more I see the Broughton Messenger ... the more I want the Broughton Messenger!!!
I've yet to fully, well even partially, utilize the functionality of this pedal, but I am damn glad to have it!
Just downsized to the Voodoo Lab Dingbat small from a 4 rail pedal train. Loving it.
The Ampeg Classic will be just about identical in practice to the sound of your PF50T (& from my exposure to BA210s, that one too) IME. Not necessarily a negative & it can be useful to have a second set of EQ & gain to stack, but will be the least transformative option I've tried in a preamp role.
The MXR 10 band has worked well for me as an EQ option (6 band doesn't seem laid out as optimally for me on the frequencies available) but requires 18V power. Gonna be trying the Boss EQ-200 sometime soon here, which on paper seems like the one I'd recommend based on features available, but I have no experience actually using it yet.
