The Ampeg Classic will be just about identical in practice to the sound of your PF50T (& from my exposure to BA210s, that one too) IME. Not necessarily a negative & it can be useful to have a second set of EQ & gain to stack, but will be the least transformative option I've tried in a preamp role.

The MXR 10 band has worked well for me as an EQ option (6 band doesn't seem laid out as optimally for me on the frequencies available) but requires 18V power. Gonna be trying the Boss EQ-200 sometime soon here, which on paper seems like the one I'd recommend based on features available, but I have no experience actually using it yet.

I now have a boss geb-7 on the way, (cheap bin, on eBay)

Well, here's what I've had together for a few months with no more changes expected ... ? No more room anyways.

Ha! It took a while. Once the pedals were finally sorted out and placed where I wanted them in the chain, I just used the shortest cables I could and routed the power cables under the board to the powers supply.

Got the monochromatic thing going on now. Prob unnecessary but I’m thinking about getting some flat patch cables. Seems that d’addario makes ones with the plugs facing opposite, which could be perfect for this setup.
The ones shown aren’t very flexible hence the big loops.

I feel like I can totally cram on another pedal once I can convince myself I need another...

My pedalboard setup for home use with headphones only for silent practice so the spectradrive is last in the total line, normally I would put it a bit earlier in the chain so I could use the drive part. Now this isn't possible because when looping everything would get drive
In this setup I've got a parallel line. The mono synth wet goes to all the pedals and the dry goes to the ms 60 in which I've got an overdrive, fuzz and 2 octave up setup. They come together in the hall of fame and flow together to the end. I can mute every line using the tuner option on the ms 60 or the tc tuner to mute the other line...

They are a solder less cable. I've used them for years, for connections that don't move a lot (like pedal boards). I'd rather have soldered cables, but things change so much that these have saved me a lot of time and money in the long run. They been completely reliable on long tours, so far: georgels.com

Over the last year, I’ve slowly outgrown my pedalboard, and now it was time for a new one. I wanted this one to be big enough to accomodate all my current pedals, with enough space to make each one reasonably accessible. In addition, I wanted neat and tidy cable runs. I find this to be more difficult on Pedaltrain-style boards, so I settled on the small pedalboard from Mono. Not the cheapest, but great design and quality, and since they now come with a gig bag, the price wasn’t too bad, all things considered.

I finished the build today, and I’m fairly satisfied with the result. I would have liked the cable runs to be even neater, but that would have required custom cabling, which I felt would be overkill for this board.

Some of the larger pedal arrays here give me some weird anxiety to which I never knew I was prone. I imagine myself dancing like Tom Hanks in Big, only dumber. Plus, everyone makes different signal chain decisions! Trying to educate myself on all this during lockdown. Old dog/new tricks dynamic.

Keep in mind that signal chain may be deceptive - guys put pedals where convenient, but you have to follow the cable routing to see what the chain actually is.

In the 80's I played in a band with a guitarist who plugged these effect cartridges directly into his guitar. Now THAT'S tidy.

Jury is still out on the JHS Colour Box. It sounds great, just seeing if its gonna work for “me”.
