Me, I'd be perfectly happy to use either, though I believe the BodyRez is a little bit better.

I think it is obvious from your post, so just to make sure:

Both Bodyrez and AD-2 are pedals designed (or at least marketed) for acoustic guitars.

I understand that you didn't find either inappropriate for bass...no low end loss, etc….correct?

I bought Bodyrez used...and have been waiting for AD-2 to appear on the used market.

On paper, AD-2 seems to offer more functions for similar price: high input impedance, reverb and notch filter.

I will have to see whether it is comparable (quality-wise) with Bodyrez on the main function though...​

I paid $70 for my AD-2.

Not only is there no low end loss, there is a substantial bass boost. Don't go crazy with the knobs.

The pictures I posted are old, so you should know that I am happier with the compressor after the BodyRez or AD-2, which helps tame the low end.

LOVE IT. I think too many people overlook it because it's not the most expensive option. I use it alone for my clean tone, then blend in the angry driver with the LS2.

Just finished this, it’s pretty neat up top, I tried to keep it clean underneath, but with usb, trs, TRRS, midi, power (on daisy cables at that), and audio running all over the board, the end product underneath ain’t the tidiest. Did a time lapse of the build, need to record some music for it and I’ll upload the vid on my YouTube channel.

A wee update, added the orange buttons after seeing them on here - merci bien - and I no longer ‘miss’ a pedal also decals added.
As an aside, the chopping board arrived broken. I fixed it with three screws and they sent a replacement. Spare pedalboard? Nope ... my little Orange amp needed tilted a few degrees - ah hah
