The guitarist in my modern rock band is a "bad" influence. I've had to build out a 2nd board for some of the weird stuff we do. Things were getting a little aggressive for my country band! So I have just finished this new fella. It's certainly not tiNy, but I like to keep things tiDy.

Tidy, eh? Of course, with no cables LOL I'm gonna have to clean the board up before that anyway. I can't stand those glue residues and those white pieces of Dual Lock (edit: ops, I noticed you can't see them in these pics )

Poly Tune>Harmonic Booster>GX100>XComp,Poly Octave (Sushibox Lab Rat, MBD2, Duality Fuzz in the send return) Fuzz Muff, Slow Gear, Bass Chorus, delay plus, delay analog >Mono out to Hyper Luminal Compressor into Darkglass AO900 and the foot switch is the Amos clean, alpha distortion drive, and omega fuzzy drive.

The board is 3 pedal train nano plus clamped together using a few ciocks clamps. I'll get around to ordering a board eventually. Last thing I want room for is my Ibanez Weeping Demon Wah so I'll probably go for a 24" wide 12-14" deep board.

...and it's alive! It still doesn't have its own heart (Cioks 4 courtesy of "the other board"). I have been tweaking the settings on both the OJ and FOH to shelve some hiss. I think I'm almost there. As far as I'm concerned I don't care about a bit of hiss for a live board, that Orange Juice just sounds glorious, but I am worried about "picky" soundmen.

New project with people in the Fractal ecosystem, this is my toe-dip. Also my first time building on a temple audio board. So far I like both a lot. I'm pretty happy with how this came out - some tidy touches for the group. Output 1 of the FM3 feeds the XLR mod; right now the 1/4 in patchbay is not actually in use and may get removed.

You leave my Meat Box alone...

The SUB Channel goes to #2 of the Ultra Wave Bass and the Dry goes through the chain including the Channel #1 of the Ultra Wave Bass. Channel # 2 goes to the DI (NOT the amp/cabinet). No need for the C4.

It is not yet complete, but pretty close. The board is custom built by my brother and I made from aluminum sheeting and thin walled stainless steel. The panels are attached by rivets, some stainless hardware and industrial double sided-adhesive depending on the locational requirements. The power and signal lines are home-made excepting the MIDI cables by One Control. There will be side caps added in the next week or so with instrument and XLR inputs (I also play woodwinds), a volume pedal loop, expression pedal jacks and switchable outputs to include or isolate the Beat Buddy for a mixing board. All of the remaining dangly bits will be tidied when the last pieces of this project appear. There is also a MIDI hub to send a tempo signal to my girlfriend's looper and effects.

I abandoned the Meat Box for the Mantic Hulk...

It's smoother and takes other processing better. In the end, the Meat Box was too distorted on its own to take other types of distortion well for me. YMMV

Nice looking board! Sorry for derailing but what does the Zio bring to the table? Ive been looking at it but read that it was really subtle for bass. Still interested though…

Hi,

I like the Studio and E Plex settings.

For myself, it is two nice front end treatments with a mute function and a separate line out function. There is so much down stream that a simple frontend is nice.
