Show your tidy pedalboard!

Ok ripped the board posted above apart and went a little bigger but also cleaner. Wanted to use an isolated power supply rather than a one spot with daisy chain.

The JPTR Jive sounds great before the Bassrig 64 black panel. The big muff sounds good too but the Jive is a better match. I plan on replacing the big muff with an octave pedal of some sort.

I am ending 2022 with a chipboard-floor for my stomp-boxes. The new pedal in collection is a Boss OC-5 and it very suprised me in every way (but still I have OC-3 because of fuzz-synthy sounds). The chipboard (10 mm, yes... too thin for traveling) was for free and I painted it black after fitting velcro tapes. Its a not-mobile "pedalboard" used by amateur at home only. In my opinion: when I would be ready for pro-case this project could be a good base to make real pedalboard.

Rearranged a bit to add the C4 to the signal chain before the Mantic Hulk then to the Atlus Compressor. Then to channel #1 of the Ultra Wave Bass, to channel #1 of the EQ2. (EQ2 channel #2 has the mute/tuner out from the ZIO preamp for silent tuning.) The chain starts with the Saturnworks splitter to the ZUUL key input & ZIO buffer input.

The Aftershock is at the end before the Fortin ZUUL and Micro Thumpinator buffered output. (I can add a looper/EHX Super Ego into the Aftershock effects loop, if desired.) There is a separate SUB line off the Mantic Hulk to the channel #2 of the Ultra Wave Bass and then to a DI under the board.

Board looks great! When I was looking for a space fillers I got a looper, riff recorder, and the mooer micro drummer. All of which were great pedals
I also got a mini mixer pedal. All great ideas. There's a lot of stuff out there

Quite good. Does what it says it does, the automatic attack and release times are perfect. I’m hearing some low-level static noise every time the signal level passes the threshold point in either direction (i.e., whenever the LED changes color), but I suspect that has more to do with the crappy old wiring in my house since I have other noise problems with various electronic gadgets. I need to experiment. But otherwise it sounds great to the extent that I’ve used it so far.

This is my tidy pedal drawer. I had a very tidy board but decided to find an integrated solution. I don’t really use any effects that I need to toggle on the fly so I prefer to keep my pedals at arms length and I can toggle or make adjustments between songs if needed.

It’s a 2U shelf that’s powder coated on both sides and fits perfectly installed upside down as a drawer. I’ve got plenty of room to swap out for larger format preamps and could fit another small pedal or two in there if needed. The case is 14” deep, the amp is 10.5” deep, and the drawer 12” deep. That left room in the back to add some brackets for a power strip facing up with 1.5’ power cables so things can stay plugged in with only one cable to come out the back. There’s still room to stow speaker cables for transport.
