Here's mine:

About to put an EMG JVX pickup set in it. A very nice, lively, bright 4 string from Fender Japan. The workmanship's superb on these.

Cheers,
CAMERON

yes, dig the late '66 trib J and have those pu's in a bass of mine and they sound great. Interesting fireplace mod - is it a see-thru to another room w/the red couch? A second living room?

You're right though! It's an SRX430, comes (or came) in white and red, both with a black pickguard.
The black striping is something I did myself. :)
Alright, thanks! The black striping looks cool...I've looked at a few SRX models online (not actually sure which ones), and I didn't recall them having pick guards, hence the question. I thought maybe it was something you added on yourself, which would've been pretty awesome.

A treat to see so many beautiful, white basses! In contributing to this thread, I attach pictures of my 1982 G&L L2000 with white finish, flat black chrome, in great condition. I originally purchased a very similar bass new in 1982, deciding that the white finish with black hardware was a striking combination. Loved the bass, however, I was gigging a lot at the time and found it to be too heavy to be comfortable under those circumstances. Foolishly, I traded it away in the early 90s', later regretting this. After much searching, earlier this year I was able to locate my current bass, with the same features (except this has a rosewood instead of an ebony fretboard), in the same serial number range as the first one. This bass is is wonderful condition, plays and feels great. Love this instrument, infused with the innovation, quality and "soul" of a Leo creation. Happy playing to all!IMG_1278.jpg

My Squier Matt Freeman Bass in a creamy white with black guard....a cheap bass price-wise but this thing is awesome and thats coming from someone thats has owned American, Japanese, vintage, etc... Reminds me of a mid-late '70s P Bass...great out of the box!

Thought you guys would like to see my new(ish) Carvin PB5. It's a 5 string P with a bridge humbucker, active/passive controls, birdseye maple fingerboard, and a great modern sound. I'm still trying to get some kinks worked out for a more vintage sound, but I'm mostly very happy with her.
