Lookin' Good everyone!! Here's my contribution: my '90s Fury, aged to a nice creamy white.

Were the new pups and bridge "plug and play?" How much extra work was involved?

The EMGs wiring was plug and play, except that I had to extend the P pups coax to make it into the box. The J pup was about 1/8" too long and I had to do some trimming. The Babicz could only use one of the pre-drilled holes.

Did a little sweating, but it was worth it.

Did you have to modify the fender skirt to fit it over the Babicz?

Yes I used a Dremel with a cutting disc and cut it to fit over/ around the babicz, was quite easy to do and took about 15 minutes. I wouldn't do it to an original unmolested bass but this bass is completely modded, 1968 tele neck, early 70s p bass body with jazz pickup added, babicz bridge, schaller tuners with Hipshot drop tuner, sadowsky pickups and the rest are fender replacement parts.

About to put an EMG JVX pickup set in it. A very nice, lively, bright 4 string from Fender Japan. The workmanship's superb on these.
