hello, maybe it's wrong topic but... i've got bad problem. Well.. i don't know how to reset settings saved on my zoom b2 (by the "store" option). If you could tell me I'll be reeaaally happy :)

P.S. I've searched in manual but haven't found anything about that

Well.. i don't know how to reset settings saved on my zoom b2 (by the "store" option).

1) turn off the unit
2) press and hold the Store button while turning it on again
3) the letters "AL" will appear on the display
4) press the Store button again to confirm

This will reset the unit to factory defaults all your previous personal settings will be erased.

Hey guys, I thought I'd bump this and give this a try. I have the Zoom B1 pedal, but the settings are somewhat similar, so maybe this will work.

I'm looking for a nice gritty (somewhat overdriven) rock tone. I've been trying to find one for a very long time and just can't get anything to sound right to my ears.

If someone has posted one in the thread already and I've missed it, I'm sorry. I just don't have the time to look through the thread.

Here's a patch that approximates Jack Casady's overdriven Versatone sound used on Jefferson Airplane's Crown of Creation LP. It works pretty well with my Epi JC bass using the varitone switch middle position.

I've been using the VT pedal with a Markbass SA450 and an Aguilar 410. Tonight I used the B2 and I got big, deep results. But I'd like a little more grind in addition to the deep. Can anyone recommend a patch? Thanks much.

Try using either the ibanez tube screamer model at at a high-gain level. perhaps at 70%. or try the boss odb-3 model at a low gain level. perhaps at 30 or 40%. set the mix controls at 60 or 70%(depending if you want more dry signal or more effected signal). for a smoother grind sound, use cabinet 2. as for eqs, set the eq controls to the le and he eq controls and set the eq controls to your liking. hope this helps you out on adding more grind to your set-up.

Hey all:

These postings seem to go back quite a ways. I'm curious to see if this list is still up to date and active.

I just got the B2, and am exploring the presets before I try making my own patches. So far, very good!

I am looking for a Jaco patch. Something more than just the fretless, anybody?

Combine slight compression w/ fretless and stereo chorus. How would you fine tune it?

i recently got a b2 and was wondering about the drum programs... is there any way to download some reggae /dub/ska beats?

:scowl:
Zoom dropped the rhythm ball on this one my friend. I've tried adjusting tempo using the canned beats, but nadda. How Zoom could have overlooked such an important genre in the History of Rhythm is beyond me.

just wanted to bump this dandy thread :D but Zoom did drop! :spit:
( lovin' my B2 in combo with > Hartke VXL > TCE BH500 > Avatar 410N. They tag team really well :bassist: )
