Thinking about going wireless with my 5 string bass guitar. I wanted to stop worrying about my singer stepping on my cord, interact with the crowd more often, and goof around with the bandmates during songs without worrying about a cable. I was looking for reviews about the ULX P14 and they are very hard to find. I found two guitarists who claim this unit sounds great and found no difference between this and decent instrument cables. I use Mogami instrument cables at the moment and was wondering if this unit would sound pretty darn close to those cables and/or if this unit works well for others?
I currently have the Line6 XDS Plus and I don't find it to be strong/rugged at all. Cheap everything, including that darn cable that shorts out if you tap it. I am returning that item!
