Shuttle 3.0 - DI load needed?

I'm a guitar player who is new to bass, and am just used to playing tube amps. Got tired of doing bass through midi so I just picked up the GB Shuttle 3.0-10T for practice and recording. For the Shuttle 3.0 since its solid state, I'm assuming if I use the shuttle as a DI (using the XLR out) for recording can I run it without a load?

yes you can. only tube amps or the rare solid state amps with an output transformer need a load.
