Low : 3:00

LF Boost : oN
Mid scoop : on

Master Volume
ABOUT 8 OR 9

WILLIEG

EEKK!!!
Low at 3:00 and the LF boost ON, slight mid cut, mid cut ON......
Yeah, a single 12 isn't gonna handle that.
That's a LOT of lows and not much mids.

I'm gonna go set up my 6.0/NEOX112 at those settings (but with a passive Jazz Bass- I'll roll the rear pick-up off).

To the OP:

Your amp is fine. At home now, I'm sure it sounds fine. You're just expecting way too much from it. Go to your car stereo, and boost the bass and turn the volume all the way up. Sound good? No - it's probably distorting like crazy. (and about to blow your speakers)

You need more speakers to do what you want from the amp.

That might be an issue, cause they had a power strip with tons of crap plugged in to it......at the club.

I really love this amp......the weight is amazing for what I do.......

Next week I will give it another try......with some the new EQ settings.....less gain.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

Get the Schroeder 1515L or the 1 x 12 extention cabinet?

The whole rig will weight in at less then 50 lbs.....600 watts and 2 15" speakers......but I am thinking the extention speaker would be fine too.

Anyone tried this set up?
