This is not a reply to the original post, just a little addition to the talk about this rare speaker. I saw one of these in the classified ads here and this thread helped me to decide to buy it or not. I bought it and I did not regret. I think it is for a bass guitar and I like its sound. I just built a 80l cabinet for it.
My basis for comparison is a Scorpion equipped Peavey TKO80. (I know it is not a high end unit, but it is punchy to cut through, quite usable; also I like it srough tone for rock music). The Celestion in this cabinet goes noticably deeper and also higher. At the same time, it is about as loud as the Peavey, which is quite good considering the 101dB sensitivity of the Scorpion.
I am satisfied with this setup for now
