Signal processing B2 vs AX3000b

I am sort of torn between the B2.1u which I see that many people like a lot, and the Korg AX3000b.
One reason I am thinking about the Korg is that I can either use the 4 pedals as on/off for the individual effects, or 4 patches like the Line6 BPOD XT Live.

What I am unsure of is whether the signal processing difference between the 2 would be noticeable.
AX3000b has 20bit and 44.1 KHz
B2.1u has 24 bit and 96Khz
Has anyone compared the 2 in a side by side?

Also I noticed on the Korg site it says that on 1/18/07 they will be releasing 10 new products, without saying what they are, and for all I know won't be part of the ToneWorks line.

Thoughts?
 
I've compared the Zoom B2 with the Korg Ampworks Bass (I have both), and processor-wise the zoom is much better. So in terms of sound quality compare the two korg processors, and if they use the same one, there's a good indicator.
I'm not big on effects, so tone control is more important to me than lots of features and effects. I use the B2 as a preamp going into a PA or power amp. I don't care for the B2 compressor though, I use a separate one.

I checked the Korg website, but it doesn't say the processor bit or freq. I would assume that it is lower than the ax3, ax5 or ax3000, but you know how the saying about assuming goes. :D

The sample rate has almost nothing to do with sound quality when you consider that both those devices rely heavily on DSP modeling. It all comes down to how well the DSP is implemented. Although, one would have to say that higher sampling rates might lead to better DSP capability, but whether this is actually reflected in high quality sound or not comes down to the skill of the programmers.
