It has been fun chatting with some of you. However, I find myself in the position of being outranked. I completely understand that there are rules and regulations. I even understand the need for them. However, I believe they were used to enforce something utterly ridiculous in my case. The "infraction" was a harmless sarcastic statement.

Around here, when we disagree with others, or someone is complaining a lot, we throw out terms like "poor wittle baby", "where's yer mama", "delicate flower", and much much worse (and that's to our FRIENDS). These terms are not intended to truly offend, rather make light of the situation and pick on people. They are the every day language of sarcastic, yet friendly people. These kinds of things are not tolerated around here.

I see both sides. My free speech rights vs. their right to police the content of their forum however they see fit. In this case, they run the joint so they win. I'm OK with that.

So, I will take my know-it-all opinions elsewhere.

Carry on.

(Starts stop watch to see how long it is before this disappears)

I dont see others on here respond in this manner, and if a person who I know real life did respond this way I certainly wouldnt consider them a friend.

Its one thing to let someone know theyre overreacting or being melodramatic. Its quite another to do so with derision.

You have no "Free Speech" rights here - the constitution doesn't apply to your communication on a public platform, unless the U.S. Government would be the one trying to censor you.
In any case, you'll either be back, or you won't. I don't care either way. Good luck fishing for empathy here.

TF: While I disagree with you on a whole lot of stuff, I don't think you're a bad guy. But I do think you come on a lot stronger than you realize. Best of luck.

I have to say I am outraged, OUTRAGED at your unfair treatment here on talkbass.com. In protest, I am going to glue an Ocelot to my knee, and walk six miles uphill, in the snow, and sing songs from the Iapotaliton Revolution, in their original tongue.

After that, I might have a bath, and eat something. While I'm in town, I may look for some type of non-toxic solvent that will benefit both myself and the Ocelot. And then I'll see what kind of TV he likes.

It's only fair.
