Ahh, the "rules are for everybody except me" generation.
Nah he's an old that usually complains about the younger generations being whiny.

I always find it fascinating when someone who chooses not to participate any longer feels the need to post one last "goodbye" thread to justify his desire to leave a forum.

Yeah. Can you imagine, like, walking into a bar, having a drink, and then announcing as you leave to all the customers and staff, in a loud voice, "I don't care for this bar. I'm leaving now to go somewhere else."I always find it fascinating when someone who chooses not to participate any longer feels the need to post one last "goodbye" thread to justify his desire to leave a forum.
On that note, am I the only one here seeing the irony that TwoFingers is being critical that people are too light skinned, yet he's quitting Talkbass over a minor infraction? I remember I got an infraction a while back for something I seriously wasn't cognizant about. I chuckled over it. Made a note not to do what got me the infraction and then moved on with life.

That would be epic.
I think they're trying the "I'm quitting and taking my ball with me". It just... doesn't work on a forum anyway haha.I'm always amazed at the ones who make a thread saying that they want the moderators/forum owner to delete their profile. I've stopped posting on numerous forums throughout my tenure on the interwebs. I just simply quit visiting the forum. I don't need my profile deleted to quit posting.
Since, in all probability you don't have bootstraps. I would suggest caution when pulling up.
Ha, you are correct. No bootstraps here to pull up. I could tighten the laces on my Doc Martens. Or maybe I can pull up someones Reebok velcro straps?

You'd need a skateboard, a cat, and a Linkin Park pen to make that epic.
