Silent drum question...

Hi,
I have a question. I have this old Thunder drumkit, for kids. The thing plays pretty well since i have nothing else to play :P
I want to make it as silent as possible so i can drum without disturbing the entire village, but i want to have the feeling of a normal drums. And ofcourse, since im Dutch, it must be at the lowest price possible! :P

Options:
1-stuff it with pillows
2-remove the backside of the drums
3-buy those noise reduce /silent pads which you can place atop of the drums (someone told me)
4- something else,….

Sound is not the issue. I really am a bad drummer and only want to learn some basic drumstuff. And i can manage with “clicks and clacks” instead of the real deal. I do want to have the feeling of a normal drumkit, otherwise… i could drum on buckets and stuff like that…

Im posting this here… since i trust you guys. Real drummers are weird :P
[and i didnt want to ge ton a drum-forum]
