simple: maple or rosewood fretboard and why? please

Maple neck, maple fretboard. Maple fretboards look 10000000 times better than rosewood on maple necks. Unless you have a finished neck or a brown bass, it should be maple, especially on a fender.

My 2 cents, I think that maple sounds slightly brighter than Rosewood, but the real reason I prefer Rosewood is that a Maple fretboard feels stickier to me because my hands sweat so much. It wouldn't stop from owning one or the other and my choice betweeen the 2 would be based purely on aesthetics.
