Why does it NEED 1500 watts?
are you clipping the amp by any chance?
I've never heard of a cab that needed a minimum amount of power.
What are you going to do...........run it at full volume all the time ?
Hope you never have to turn down, or you will blow your amp.
Sounds like B.S. to me

Sounds like Pure & Applied B.S. to me. With Honours and a cherry on a stick.
i believe you can under power a cab by pushing a head and it clipping but thats all i heard of. so if you are using your svt6 head right now and turn it to only 5 your saying it will destroy the svt6?

We have an a deal with Basson, so basically obligated to stay with them. The cabinets sound great, and are exactly what we are looking for (when all this drama is delt with). Why would anyone want a cabinet that eats amps for breakfast when there are so many other options that sound great.
AFAIK only you and NS use Basson cabs.
Sorry for double post, but thanks for your help disasterline.no need to confirm it, a preamp out is there to send your preamp signal an external poweramp. your manual should confirm this
