Sire Bass Upgrades

Thinking about getting some upgrades to my Sire V7 5 string bass. The craftsmanship on these basses is extremely good. So no fretwork/woodwork is necessary. The platform for modding/upgrading is nice.
So im curious as to what others have done to their Sire Basses to improve them and what brands and models did you use to mod?

Im thinking tuners, preamp and possibly bridge

I've got to say that they don't really need any mods but I can't leave anything alone .
I put Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners , a Fender deluxe bridge , Nordstrand single coil pickups and an Audere 4 band pre in my V3 5 . All these came from the Talkbass classifieds . The tuners helped neck dive and balance and the Audere is easier for me to change my tone on the fly . Although I love Nordstrand pickups and have them in all my basses the stock Sire pickups were easily as good sounding to me .

Here are my list of upgrades/modifications on my Sire P7 5’er;

1. Replacement pickguard - The original stock pickguard was starting to de-laminate. Pickguard from Jack’s Instrument Supplies (U.K.)

2. Replaced the stock black plastic/rubbery control knobs with a set of Harley Benton chrome knobs from Thomann.

3. Changed the stock strap buttons to D’Addario locking strap buttons.

4. Modified the stock cap on the bass control from .22 to .75

Here's my V7 vintage. EMG pickups, EMG BTS EQ, Gotoh brass quick release bridge, new pickguard, new strap buttons, hipshot string retainer.I reshaped the headstock and re-slotted the nut which was way too high and made the bass difficult to play in the low ranges

The tuners seem fine. I'm kind of waiting until there is a exact drop-in upgrade available. I know some people use the Gotoh Reso-lites for less neck dive. Neck dive or weight is not an issue for me. But I'm worried that using light tuners might alter the way the bass resonates. I don't know if this is true but I always thought that the extra weight on the headstock increases sustain and makes the bass more lively sounding.

Was the Fender bridge a direct drop or did it require drilling new holes?
