Sire M7 6 string

Hello,

I am currently considering a 6 string bass (because... why not? :smug:). I don't need a feather but I would like to find one under 10 lbs / 4.5 kg. I was considering hunting down a used Bongo 6 but I just noticed there is a Sire M7 6 string which was released very recently.

I could not find any mention of it on TB when doing a search. Did someone have the chance to try one? Any feedback: how does the neck feel? is it a boat anchor? :D

Cheers!

That Sire 6-string must be new in their line-up. I only started noticing it on Reverb recently. The rest of the Sire instruments are getting pretty good reviews.

That said, I own an EBMM Bongo HS 6 in the Honey Roasted PDN finish and it's an excellent instrument. I'm aware that many do not care for the Bongo design, but I love it.

That is stunning, i love this finish on a Bongo. I currently own a Bongo 5 PDN neptune blue, and both are my 2 favorite PDN finishes.
