These high end Sires are nice even if they aren’t the value the regular ones are. I would like to seem them with 21 or 22 fret necks though.

These high end Sires are nice even if they aren’t the value the regular ones are. I would like to seem them with 21 or 22 fret necks though.
These definitely look great. Though, for the price I would also like to see nicer hardware, such as Hipshot LIC tuners like Lakland Skylines have, and something nicer than that 5¢ String tree...heck throw on a Hipshot bridge, too.
I have a Sire M2 which is a pretty stunning deal for $370. Yeah, components like the knobs and tuners are certainly cheap, but the pickups, neck, and preamp are all terrific. It would be so cool if that level of value were carried all the way up the line.
Apparently Nathan King (Mark King's brother and one of the guys who does the videos for Anderton's) just loves the Sires and they built him a 5-string V7 with a 24-fret neck and that's become his gigging bass. Seems like that'd be a winner—wish they made that as a standard.
