Sire U5 5 String

I've gone short scale, period. I've got a 35 year old Warmoth P-Bass that is literally perfect. I'm gonna keep it because I am basically loyal to inanimate objects.
I wonder if there is a Sire custom shop, or if I could convince them to build me a U5 5 string. I played someone's short scale 5 string recently and all the floppy B string problems I've heard so much about didn't show up. I've got several short scale basses now. G&L American, Fender American, Gretsch. It's U5 all the way for me. I'm just wondering about the 5 string thing.

I'd bet you could convince them....with the right amount of money. Step one, pay enough for them to start a Custom Shop.......Step 2..........
Obviously you are saying they don't have a custom shop. I wouldn't have expected them to, but at my age I've learned that there are libraries dedicated to things I don't know, Thanks for your earnest reply.
