It seems SIT RB strings have been discontinued & replaced with SIT Fusionwound strings? I wonder how similar they are? Any SIT reps here?

SIT RB Rock Brights Nickel discontinued?

I just checked the SIT website. It's been completely redesigned recently. And you're right about the Rock Brights being nowhere to be found.
Now I have to find out what this "fusion wound" thing is all about.

They look to be the same strings with new packaging. They've always been 'fusion wound'.

I asked SIT and this was their reply:
"We have actually changed the name of these strings and re-branded. They are now the FUSION wound bass strings. See the link below."

So it looks like it's a rebrand but not a redesign. Name change to avoid confusion with Dunlop SBs?

I'm curious if they'll now merge the Power Steel and Power Wound into just Power Wound Nickel or Stainless. The Power Steel, which I use, seem to now stick out, branding-wise.
