Resolved Site unusable

For the past couple of days I've had an issue where the site has absolutely no page style, its all white with black text and each page takes over 5 minutes to load it looks like this

I have tried in firefox, chrome, chromium and internet explorer, all the same. I have also tried accessing the site via a US and a UK proxy, no change.

You're not getting any content (javascript, css, and images) from the CDN server at static.talkbass.com.

• What happens when you try to access http://static.talkbass.com ?
• What do you see when you access Invalid Link Removed
• Are you browsing TalkBass from a work environment?

Oh also make sure you're using http:// and not https://

We're working on converting TalkBass to https but not there yet.

it seems to have fixed itself for now.

before I was getting a connection timeout to static.talkbass.com.

I was unable to reply because I could not enter messages into reply pages. Nor in the create thread pages. I don't know how I managed to make this thread but for some reason it had a message box when I did it.

The worst part is that it takes about 5 minutes for it to timeout to static.talkbass.com so the page just doesn't load for ages.

I haven't changed anything and for now it seems good.

Should also add it happens on two different win7 machines as well as my linux netbook. Restarting router did nothing too. I am guessing it was some DNS problem.

I had exactly the same problem since Friday and now everything is normal again today. It was the same on two PCs, a notebook and this iPhone and I didn't change any settings. It was the same both at home and at work so not confined to a particular router. I'm in Australia if that has any bearing on it.
