Skreddy Echo

I've had my skreddy echo for about a month or so and wanted to make a few observations for my fellow bassplayers interested in the pedal. I've had or still have the following delays:
Dan Echo, Guyatone MD-2, Korg Dynamic Echo, Earthquaker Distaster Transport Delay, Boss DM-2, Retrosonic Delay, Boss RE-201, Line 6 Echo Park, Maxon AD-600, Boss DD-3, DOD DFX-9, DOD analog Delay, Ibanez AD-80, and the Skreddy Echo.

The skreddy echo in 9 volt sounds gritty and beautiful the repeats turn into a faint beautiful harmonic mess that just lingers in the background, same with 18 volt but the repeats are clearer. The oscillation is also wonderful however the volume doesn't increase as the oscillations get more intense.

The down side to me is that the lows get cut out from the repeats, however with the effects loop you can tailor the sound of the repeats with an EQ in there, to whatever you want, add lows, boost mids, cut highs, even add a faint OD onto the repeats like some Tape Delays have when the levels are boosted. I think that the effects loop is what sets it appart from every other comparable delay out there, because you can tailor the repeats with whatever you want, next to my Ibanez AD-80 the skreddy is the best delay that I've found for me, maybe you'll find the same too.

Cheers,

Ed
