Slaving question

I've got a Fender PA100 (all tube), and an SVT III (Non-pro). Is it possible to slave the SVT IIIs power amp, and run it all through one cab?

If so, how would I go about doin' that?

I searched for slaving stuff on here for a while, but nothin' for what I was looking for. Thanks.

well i'm not familiar with those two amps in terms of their connections but i can help out a bit.

1st off, you should never run a tube amp without a load on the tube poweramp section, so you'll ned to run a cab off of the fender, or use some sort fo dummy load of the correct impedance.

You cannot run two seperate poweramp sections into one cabinet unless you really want to break your stuff.

I assume that you want to use the preamp section of the fender and the poweramp section of the ampeg correct? If so, you need to run an instrument cable from the preamp out, line out, or effects send of the fender (if it has any of these) to the poweramp in or effects return of the ampeg.

Be aware that some (not many) amps have the effects send pre tone section, so you may not get the sound of the amp. Also be aware that the effects return of the ampeg may require you to adjust the effetcs blend (if any) to fully "wet".

Overall the biggest problem you will encounter is the need of the tube amp to have a speaker load on it.
