I am a big fan and owner of some older Hohner JJ basses. They look great, play great and sound great.
Fernandes makes great Jazz basses. The MIJ ones are insane 62 style basses down to the low profile vintage frets. The Taiwanese ones are great too.
Lastly, I really like Reverend has done. I have an old rumble fish which is off the hook. They now make a J style bass called the Justice which I played and really enjoyed.
I am sure there are others but these come first to mind for me.
