You say it's not conductive. If it is indeed the case, it doesn't provide any kind of shielding.

No the adhesive is non conductive, the tape is copper

Another pick... BTW I always test all overlaps and joins with my continuity tester on my DMM.

Copper usually is conductive.
And if it wasn't, it wouldn't repel the slugs either.


Great alternate use of cheap product, congrats Pimmsley.

I use copper strip out of shielded power cables (no adhesive on it though).

I did a quick search... it does appear that "slugga" is available at bunnings...

cool...great find... I don't spend much time in the pest and gardening department (the pests are everywhere and the garden is a mess )... but I'll need to have a look...

Yes in the 10m roll but the 4m is available at 'Masters' only, as far as I can tell.

It's awesome stuff, enjoy...

on a side note, I dropped some 'Barts' in and a set of Chromes on this Vantage VS600B and it's now such a beautiful sounding fretless, had it for 18 years, but finally the combination of above mentioned parts make it truly sing !

Ebay dealer that I bought from (I have no relationship) offers this.

I bought this and it seems to work well. Laid it into my bass's nether regions toot sweet. Have enough for another bass. Much cheaper than Stew and others, and more reliable than buying overseas. 3 day delivery, free ship.
