Do the TH350 and D350 use the same power amp module? I've never felt the Aguilar lacks volume, even running it at 8 ohms into an Aguilar 1x12 has been loud enough for most gigs. I've never had a situation where I was running at 4 ohms without PA support and felt like I didn't have enough volume on tap.

I was a happy Aguilar TH500 owner for years. You can't really go wrong with one.

It will do modern well, but it shine's for the vintage stuff. As close to a vintage tube amp you'll get with class D.

I only sold mine because I got a good deal on my Bergantino Forté.

I've been trying to decide between Bergantino and the TH500. Can you share some insight on the differences between the 2 and the cabs you use?

I find the Berg to have more clarity and headroom, but it's very unforgiving. Modern and hifi, but not harsh.
The TH500 is an awesome amp, but definitely more vintage voiced, like a tube amp.
I'm using a Berg NXV212 and HD410.

Excellent top level/summary comparison of the two based on my experience. Poor technique is much more easily hidden/masked by the TH voicing. The Berg is great head for hearing every nuance in your playing and has clarity without sounding sterile. To me the Berg heads have a very polished/sophisticated voicing with plenty of authority and punch to fit most any playing situation.

If you're looking for more support for the GK MB500, happy to oblige. If you're ok with the GK "family voice", this one offers it in spades in a small, reliable package. I never leave home without one, though I'm currently using a Mesa D800+ for most of my primary gigging needs.
