Small home studio w. Tannoy reveal 402

Hi guys,

I need some gear for both recording and practicing bass/keyboard. I currently have a bass guitar, keyboard (normal analog jack out) and a newer macbook pro.

As space is very limited I have the hots for a pair of Tannoy reveal 402's and either a Tascam us-2x2 or Focusrite 2i2.

I am in doubt about:

1) I read the tannoys have a frequency response of 56hz - 48khz. I know it will go deeper though roll off, but I also see that an E string has a frequency of 41hz. Will this be a problem? Will an E note be almost unhearable, or will I be at risk of destroying the monitors? They only have 4 inch woofers, but should have a good low end, and I'm not gonna play loud by any measure.

2) Will I need any other hardware for a simple setup?

Thank you very much for input :)
