Small p/u issue....

Can anyone tell me what's going on here? What is that piece on the bottom of the first volume pot? I've never seen that before.

The green thing is a printed circuit board with a switch on it. It may be to switch the pickups to parallel or series. Switch could be a push/push or a pull type. Try pushing in or pulling out on the knob and see what happens. The PUs will probably work normally when the switch is in the other position. You got a feature you didn't know was included.

Makes sense now. I do recall seeing a weird looking knob when I first got it. I thought the previous owner lost the knob and put a replacement on it. :hiding: I replaced the knob with a standard knob. :help: Funny, I was wondering why the bass sounded like a P Bass and there was no 60 cycle hum! Lawd help me!
