PS-I thought you were looking at practice amps, because if you're looking at something up into the Ampeg BA 112, you might as well take a look at the Acoustic B100, that way you can play with a guitar and drummer, at decent volume, and it's still very reasonably priced. Not a loud guitar and drummer, mind you.
The problem with practice amps, is that you always seem to want just a few more watts, just in case!
I have the Acoustic B200, which will handle most situations, but it's 75 pounds! Even the Acoustic B50 would be worth looking at. I tried the B20, and I didn't think it had enough punch. I tried the Peavey Max 110 + 112, and they seemed very loud for the wattage. Good, deep sound. I got the Peavey Max 112 from MF, but it wouldn't power-up, so I got turned off by Peavey. It was probably just an isolated unit. The Peaveys at GC worked fine, which is where I tried them, and God knows they get put through hell there! The Acoustic B100 is worth a good look. I am very happy with my Warwick Blue Cab 30 for a practice amp.
Lots of choices.
Good luck.
