Resolved smiles issue

When I am creating a new post, I can click on the smiles button at the top and it works as it should as shown in the first image below. If I make that post and edit it, the icons at the bottom aren't appearing as shown in the second image. Also, Earlier I selected the laugh icon, it posted "laugh" .

This just seemed to start happening today.

I've confirmed the missing smilie issue on Safari 7.1. However I'm unable to duplicate the "laughing" error.

It's odd, because the first time I tried editing a post and dropping down the smilie bar, the smilies did not appear as you've noticed. However, every other time I try it now, it DOES work. Hmm... I'll see if I can figure this one out. Thanks for the detailed report!

Oh quick question: Going by the screenshot, you were using the Retro theme when this happened, correct?

Yes, retro theme.

Could it be a refresh issue of some sort?

I mentioned refresh above. Today I found that when you edit the post, drop down the smiles bar, see no icons in the edit window, then hit the browsers refresh button, the icons appear as they should. If there was a way to automatically refresh the edit window after the smiles have been dropped down, it might fix it.
