I've had quite a few blown out speakers while playing Smoke on the Water.

Look up the story behind the song sometime. It is fascinating. You'll find that the lyrics are not "crazy". They simply tell the story of an incredibly weird episode in the lives of those band members. My jaw was slacked the whole time I was reading it.
Yep. It's amazing that this album was even recorded.
In the 25th Anniversary Edtion CD, there's a great 28 page booklet full of pictures and a great write up by bassist Roger Glover telling the story of the making of this classic LP.
Plus, Roger re-visited the original tapes and did his own re-mix of the entire album.
Great stuff. Great memories.
