Double Bass Snark clip on tuner

Hi guys
I found an old Snark tuner that I didn't even know I had. Seems to be fine (was stored in the box it came in) however the coating outside is quite sticky, and initially even came off my fingers. Looks like a temperature thing. I have left it out in the open to dry, a week later is still sticky...any suggestions on how to fix?

Regards to all

It won‘t „dry“. It is the rubberized coating that dissolves. The only way to get that sticky stuff off is cleaning with a solvent. I have no idea which works best, I would try alcohol, benzine etc.
Afterwards you have a clean plastic surface that may let the tuner slip off your fingers much easier than before.

Better take out the battery before you begin and let it dry before reinserting the battery.
