Snowmageddon 2011: The Snowpocalypse!

I'm in Milwaukee and we got a decent amount of snow. I can't tell if it was all coming down, or if it was stuff that was on the ground and blew around a lot. I'm guessing it's a combination of the two.

I took a quick video with my iPod Touch that you can see here...it doesn't really do the storm justice, but it really wasn't the "end of the world" snow storm. Pretty severe? Oh yeah, but you're not going to find this in Revelations. :rolleyes: It was more of 12" of snow blowing all over the place and making it impossible to walk or drive.

Oklahoma got pounded, all turnpikes are closed, and Tulsa is shut down. 13" of powder is not the norm for us Okies. On top that, people here can't drive when the weather is clear, they suck at driving in the rain, and drive 2wd cars out in blizzard conditions. Pretty darn funny. Last night I saw a jack knifed semi on a city street, with seven or eight cars sideways around it. I would have loved to watch that one.

well, we got our share of snow, but it wasn't anything ridiculous. and the blizzard winds didn't stop me from recording with the band last nite. it was pretty intense driving yesterday, but i didn't have to go too far and i have all-wheel-drive.
