I notice how in these threads, no one ever asks if the salesperson was right as if their attitude completely invalidates their point. So, was the salesperson right? Looks to me as if the OP never had any intention of buying from SA regardless, they were there only to try before buying...which will ultimately be the downfall of brick and mortar retailers.

I drove all around Charlotte that day trying to find that amp. I was more than interested in buying that amp that day from them, if they had it.

A few times I've gotten really pissed - ended up saying "Can you please bring someone over here who knows what they're talking about..."
