Hey all For the past week or so, I've been getting bitten by something while I'm asleep. I wake up with these mosquito-bite looking bumps on my back and arms. It's been getting worse. They are very itchy. My first thought was bed bugs and/or fleas, both of which I hear are extremely hard to get rid of. I changed my sheets and covers today, moved a lot of stuff out of my room, washed the drapes, and steam-cleaned the carpet. From what I've read though, this will not be enough to kill the little pests. Any ideas besides calling an exterminator? No one else in my family is getting bitten so far, even though I share my room with my brother. I don't have any dogs or cats. Vince
Try a fogger product. We have used the "Hot Shot" brand in the past with much success. We have six cans left from when we had our dog. If you are short on cash, and want me to send you one of mine, let me know by PM. We don't need them anymore. -Mike
Could be spiders too, we get that in our house a bit in the late spring/early summer. Nothing deadly, just anoying and bad looking bites. I'll second the fogger, it's pretty simple as long as you don't have fish or other pets that are difficult to get out of the house for a few hours.
mites and scabies are supposed to be really bad this year. I know a couple of people who have had one or the other. One poor guy had both.
showers, telephones, civilization, you know, that kinda thing. Kidding, kidding. I'm sure if there's anything Texans know damn well, it's their bugs.
Come on guys, we're all musicians here, right? No need to beat around the bush. Did you go home with that bad girl from the bar last week? Randy
