So I'm On Accutane Now

I consider myself lucky. The only side effects I experienced were dry lips and eczema on the back of my hands. I got a little depressed, but it stayed for the whole duration of the treatment.

But the stuff cleared acne once and for all. I took 40mg for 6 months I think.

I highly recommend stopping, speaking from my personal experience.

The only side effects I got were dry lips, dry skin and rashes on my hands. I missed a month of school because I already have low self-esteem and I couldn't bare going to school with like 15 huge pimples on my face during my initial breakout. I never got suicidal or anything though. I also think thats BS.

From my experience, it's a tough drug with its ups and downs but I think the result is worth it. I've tried so many different acne treatments and medications that did nothing for me, Accutane was a last resort drug and it worked.
