Hi everyone!

I'm originally a drummer. Then about a year ago I got myself a nice, cheap bass on a whim - just to have something easier to carry to jam sessions than a drumset, and to noddle with while watching netflix.

That was the initial plan at least. Now I joined a conservatory and I'm playing bass in a cover band. I totally got carried away. And I love it.

So hey, why not join the largest online bass community? I'm already a slave to the low end. What's the worst that could happen?

Be advised. We make LOTS of "fire the drummer" jokes. They are just that.... jokes. In the band management forum, it became a running joke that all band problems could be solved simply by firing the drummer. But it's not serious.

Welcome to our World. Once you've found the bottom end there is something very comfortable down here.

The learning curve from drums to bass is easy. Rhythm is the hard part and you are already there.
