So..... Reccommend me a head

If you can try one, definately give Genz-Benz a test run.

Yes, I am really able to get any sound I want out of mine. Mine has two pre-amps (the GBE600, which I have, features switchable/combinable FET and Tube pre-amps; the GBE750 will feature the same, but also contain seperate EQ for each channel!).

I liked Eden. A lot. But comparing it to the Genz-Benz, I found the GBE600 to be more flexible and a bit more natural-sounding (not by much, but it just sounded more natural).

I've tried a Genz Benz GBE400 and was fairly impressed, kicked the arses of the ampegs and hartkes the store also had in stock. So I'm not ruling out a GB.

Thunderfunk is starting to look fairly nice though as I have already said I am a bit wary of buying without trying it first and the total cost would be a a bit over $2000 AUD ($1990 for amp, $80 for rack ears, + shipping) though i might be able to get a bit of a discount because the Tfunk dealers is also the schroeder dealer.

I am selling my Genz Benz GBE600. Don't get me wrong I love it, but my new tour coming up they strictly want ampeg stuff so it has to go in the meantime. The 675 watts sounds more like 1000! I have used amps with more wattage and they didn't come close in volume. PM me if you are interested.

aparently its very easy (I have not seen it myself)

.. open the top.. there should be instructions inside the lid.. there are some jumpers you change.. volia..

if you have probs post on the eden forum.. lane on bass will help you (he's told others exactly how to do it)..
