You didnt answer the question. Why do you feel a President should not be allowed to serve two terms? Im trying to gain an understanding of your position here.

Because let's say a president actually DID have control. After a while, a leader could get tired, could get wreckless, could put the country at risk; people get fat cat mentalities in businesses because there AREN'T restrictions put on them, and then they start meddling because they feel comfortable with what they've been put in charge of for so long.

If our leaders actually created a system where each presidency had to chain itself to continue the work of what was done previously, then maybe there'd be success.

They don't have to chain themselves to the work but they certainly have to deal with what was already done. Which sometimes takes more than 4 years.
Congress is there to make sure a level of realism is maintained.

Congress is there for a lot more than that and they seem to be the major hold up on getting things done these days. Whether or not you agree with it the absolute fact is they have thrown up more roadblocks in the past four years than at any other time in our history.

Why is a better question than what. I think people get too hung up on what when it doesn't even begin to give you any answers.

but the main issue at hand is a 2nd term is being considered because BO's plan is one that only he can follow to a tee!

There should be a way to plan events ahead of time in order to maintain the best stability, by having a presidential agenda that maintains the best plans by maintaining connection with the previous.

Think of how many loose cannons there have been in our history that have taken us from one angle to another. Is that a sign of a strong nation? Is that a sign of stability? Is that good for business? I don't think so. Individualism fronting a group, a country, is a dangerously headstrong approach to leadership.
