Santa hered me a satchel of cat food (chicken) and a bottle of glühwein.

Not completely true. Mine will chew on my fingers and feet when feeling ornery and wanting to play, so she gives the gift of scar tissue.
Y’all up early my kids still aren’t up. Went to my moms for Christmas Eve. So far I’ve gotten some stuff for the house and $400 in cash to work with. $300 from my mom and $100 from work.

I got to see the new Star Wars movie and my wife made some delicious mostacciolli and pineapple upside down cake. I think today we are having some ham steaks, mash potatoes and stuffing. Nothing bass related unfortunately.
My best friend, his wife, and my wife colluded to get me EZ Drummer - now I have to learn how to use it.
Socks (10 pair!) and a Lumo flashlight to hang on my keychain. Christmas dinner - Nawab Indian Restaurant on First Colonial Rd. Just the two of us...no cooking, no cleaning...what can be better than that?!?

My wife and I stopped gifting each other a long time ago concentrating on the kids. Since my wife has the week off we spend it doing staycation stuff instead.
