So, what do you guys do for living?

Retired now - thank goodness. Got out of the rat race at the right time. Traveled for a living (47 Years), would hate to have to do that now days. Been retired 10 years this month. Income is fixed, but OK International Harvester and Mack trucks send money each month and then Uncle Sam sends a Social Security check each month for both my Wife and myself.

My toys - all purchased before retirement include a sailboat, rowing shell, ham radio rig, acoustic and bass guitar, keyboard and clarinet. Plus my old faithful 1992 pickup. If I want something new I sell something old.

I find ways to kill these guys....

I don't go into debt for gear, I did that before, but now I make sure everything in is balanced either by cash in hand or something going out.

I've spent the last 6 months finishing my masters and writing my thesis--so I've been working on and off at Kohl's department store part time to slow down the depletion of my savings.

What a great time to enter the job market. I've been selling off old gear all year to help pay the bills and I'm sure I'll have to up that a few notches this summer when my savings account hits $0 and my job hunt inevitably fails.

At least I don't have any debt.

oooo ham radio...my grandfather was W6ZRY originally then he used KF6J...I miss those days he'd be up on the ham chatting with his buddies. I can still hear all the weird noises and such...

I drive this for a living...but most of my gear money recently came from Ebay sales LOL...I made just enough to get my bass and the hubs got my amp. Everything else I needed came from my bro.
I shouldn't complain cos I'm lucky to have a job but it sucks when work is so slow, they're barely willing to spend money on buses for trips and sports right now, I've never been so bored cos I'm never out. I can't quit cos we own these buses, we're private charter. So...I just kinda wait and hope for a trip. This week I'm lucky, I'm out 2 days on the road.
I do have a goal to save up for later tho, an Ibanez SR750
A penny here a nickle there...hopefully they're still available when I got enough LOL...
