So what strings do you use on an aluminum neck Kramer?

So I have two 1979 Kramer basses. A DMZ 4001B and DMZ 6000B. I found GHS Pressure Wound strings the perfect match for these basses. Because of the aluminum necks they are bright to begin with. The GHS strings tame that high end zing and sound awesome with those stock old school DiMarizo pickups.
