I dont know if i will get an answet here, but my drummer has finally deciced to lend his voice to the band. does anybody have ideas for a cheap wireless headset mic any at all woud be great. thanks

Why does he need wireless? Is he going to be singing, playing drums AND running around the stage? Just get a wired one, and run the cable up his back.
Spend the money you save on a "cough-drop" - a foot operated mic switch, so he can turn his mic off when he's counting tracks in, and calling stuff out to the band between songs. Otherwise next time he comments on the new set of changes the guitarist made up for the middle 8 they'll be broadcast to the whole venue.

That'd be much better than what we currently use; a switch on the XLR connector. Would you know where to get them or who makes them?

The original model was called the "cough-drop", but they changed the name and do a few different versions so you can get latching/non-latching and other options. The one I've got is the basic latching "sign-off". It was pretty expensive for what it is, but it's a good solid metal box, and does a good job.
