Hi everyone,
I just wanted to mention that I will release a solo bass album in April 2021, "AUTOPORTRAIT" for Sunnyside Records. It features 13 tracks mix of originals and standards, including "Four Steps" which is an original of mine dedicated to Dave Holland whose album "Ones All" inspired me a lot; Coleman Hawkins' solo on "Body and Soul" performed on the bass, and others.
It was recorded the same way than Mr Holland's solo album, at Sear Sound studio, using analog tape, AKG C12 microphone, and even at the exact same spot in the room!
