(I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this. If not I'm sorry)
The school I will apply for wants me to perform a solo-piece on bass for the qualifying examination. They say it has to be (my translation) "technically challenging and written down". So no improvisation, I have to play exactly what is written on the sheet (that I hand them before).
It can be some kind of etude (does that exist for electric bass?) or a transcription of a solo.
I thought maybe you could help me finding some ideas? I will work on it together with my teacher.
I guess I'm a intermediate player. I think stuff like the "Boomerang Solo" would be a "little" too hard for me

Some Ideas would be great. thanks
