Some deep mode stuff

It's interesting what's doing, a lot of jargon though. I bet he's got thousands of those things he does. Five things that did it for me, scale book, chord book, theory harmony book, tons listening material, and technique videos.

Yes, lots of jargon. I appreciate him trying to share his approach, but I sift what he says.

If i had to explain my musical approach, i would be in the same boat.

Thank you so much for posting this!

It always amazes me how straightforward some of these concepts seem when they are demonstrated. Sonically it’s stuff we’ve heard all the time, sounds so hip.

Not that she’s anywhere near the same level as Martino, but I got the same from Carol Kaye’s Jazz material. It seems so simple, but so over my head in a way.

Conceptually I understand it but I’m still slow with the application due to my knowledge of the instrument, processing speeds and ear.

Keep a notebook so you wont lose the stuff before you figure it out.
