Today I will be going to Guitar Center to pick up my Music Man 30th Anniversary Stingray 5. I am incredibly stoked about getting this bass and as soon as I get it home, I will post some pics and video of it comparing it to a standard Music Man Stingray 5.

Then, a few weeks back I signed my endorsement deal with Nordstrand Pickups. I have loved the Nordstrand brand for years and first heard of them on here, talkbass. On Friday, they featured me in their newsletter and put me on their website as an endorsed artist. For me personally and professionally, this was a huge accomplishment. Not just to get the endorsement deal but have it offered from the company that makes my favorite pickups. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out.

Jason Ralston - Nordstrand Pickups

I also signed an endorsement deal with Gallien Krueger. When my rep gets back from vacation, I will be having a MB Fusion 800 head, Neo 410 cab in 8 ohm and Plex pre amp sent out. I am then scheduled to begin production on several demo videos for all of the companies I am now endorsed by. Those demos will also include bass demo's for Killer B Guitars and Basses and Von York strings.

In the past few months, it seems like my career has taken another step, to the next level and I have accomplished things that I have always wanted to do before but never had done.

I wanted to make this post not to necessarily brag on myself but instead, thank all of the companies and people along the way, who I either now work with or who have helped me at some point in my career.

I also want to encourage other musicians that are just coming up, to keep working hard to better your craft. Don't give up and most certainly, don't ever let negative people discourage you. Be humble, work hard, listen to those more advanced than you and eventually, your hard work will pay off and will reward you. I've been in the business for over 30 years now and I promise you, if you follow the formula above, you will be successful eventually.

Last, to everyone here on talkbass, thank you all, for everything that I learn from you as well. I have grown to love this forum and community of fellow musicians who make it great!

Congrats! Nordstrand and GK are going to be lucky to have a passionate ambassador spreading the love. It sounds like it will be a great relationship with the manufacturers going forward.

Wow, thank you all for the very kind words! I just got back from Denver and am exhausted. I will post detailed video and pics of the 30th Anniversary Stingray 5 when I wake up. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of the bass when I picked it up.
